The battery life is noticeably longer than my original battery. The battery I got was made around the same time of the one I replaced. In fact, I have gone well over a week in standby mode and still had plenty of battery life left. However, I have come to like the new back since I have big hands and it is more comfortable for me to hold.
I paid $50 for the phone in the first place. I would have liked to see one a little more recent. So far, so good. Sellers like this give the consumer the option to "beat the system" and I applaud them for that. Verizon wanted $50 for a lower strenth replacement battery. I have had this battery since October and it has remained very strong.
I have waited 5 months before reviewing it to see how the battery holds up. Would buy again. At first, the battery cover included looks a bit odd since it jets out the back of the phone much more than the original look. My 4 star rating, instead of 5, is due to the date of manufacture of the battery.
In fact your in the mountains forget about daily life and just hike. I haven't found the solution to this dilemma; however doesn't mean you can't do without a case. if your thinking of going on a short trip and don't plan on taking your razors charger that'll be a mistake but if you have this handy extension to you phones battery arsenal you'll be ready for any electricity battles in the cellular battle field. only one problem is you can't use a cellet leather case with the extended battery; nor a fit pouch to hook onto your belt.
